Fr. Bob Roggenbuck, Founder Fr. Bob is the founder of Catholic Urban Project. Father Bob Roggenbuck was ordained for the Diocese of Lansing, MI in June of 2004. Father served as the parochial vicar for St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Ann Arbor, MI and is the founder of Generation Christ/Ann Arbor, a vibrant young adult ministry, and St. Catherine House, a house and program of discernment for young women interested in religious life. He is formerly the chaplain and head of theology for Powers Catholic High School in Flint, MI and is currently the pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti, MI. Rachel Thelen, Director Rachel Thelen took on the position of Director of Catholic Urban Project in September 2009. She is in charge of coordinating the development of Catholic Urban Project, fundraising, recruiting students, and ultimately leading the summer events. She has an M.A. in Theology from the University of Notre Dame, and prior to working with Catholic Urban Project, has spent the last 3 years working in parish ministry, including youth ministry, young adult ministry, and mission outreach.
